You can update your personal details with the ATO by logging into ATO Online Services.

STEP 1:

• sign into my.gov.au
• select ‘Australian Tax Office’

STEP 2:

• click on ‘My profile’
• select ‘Personal details’

STEP 3:

• check and update your address, phone or email details as needed.

If you’re not a sole trader and need to update your business’ details (eg company/trust), you will need to log into ATO Online Services for Business – see here for detailed instructions.
