How do I pay the ATO as an individual or sole trader?

STEP 1:

  • sign into my.gov.au
  • select ‘Australian Tax Office’

STEP 2:

  • click on ‘Tax’
  • select ‘Payments’
  • select ‘Payment’

STEP 3:

  • click on ‘Credit/Debit card’ or
  • select ‘BPAY’

Depending on which option you choose, further payment details will appear.
