How do I export my bank transactions as a .csv file (Commbank)

Sometimes we need to have a copy of your bank transactions in CSV format.  This allows us to upload missing transactions into your accounting software in bulk and eliminates a lot of manual data entry.

If you have a Commonwealth Bank account, you can use these instructions to export the transactions:

  • Log on to NetBank
  • Choose the account you want to export transactions from
  • Click on the dropdown box labelled ‘Date’ next to the search box and enter the required time period (this is usually limited to the last 2 years)
  • Hit Export
  • Select the CSV format and hit Export

Note: You can search / export up to 600 transactions going back a maximum of 2 years.
